Somersville Place - Bug, no settlers there!

I have a funny problem with the quest from Preston, typical Minuteman/Settlement quest. I've gotten the pin, so I've walked where the pin was, I mean, I've tried to, but it's impossible! The pin is outside of the map! And there are no people in real location of the quest, Somersville Place Settlement. Everything I would take frome the place, is marked as stolen, when I click on the workshop, it't says this settlement is not my ally.

So the village is empty, no people in there, Pip Boy tells me to go outside the map, what to do? I must say, that my gamming is a bit weird, I have quite a lot of settlements, but I haven't even toched the main story line, I haven't been talking to Brotherhood of Steel, I haven't been in the Diamond City, I only make quests for Minuteman.I have a Castle stuff like that.

The quest marker ("pin") points to the settlement's "spokesman". Somerville Place has a unique settler, his RefID is "1E81D6". Open the console and type "TDetect", then "1E81D6.MoveTo Player". If you still don't see him, type "1E81D6.Enable". (You may need to type the MoveTo and Enable commands twice..)

I've never had such issues in the base game so it might be caused by a mod.. The RefIDs of the children are "1E81D7" and "1E81D8".

"TDetect" is short for "Toggle Detection". If you toggle it off, NPCs can't detect (see) you. You should toggle it off before moving these NPCs to you (in case if they're hostile..). To toggle it back on, type "TDetect" again.

Thank's, all worked, I've them back. I've thought it's gonna be OK now, but not, after finishing quest, and getting back to them, they were gone again. I could repet again, what you have adviced me to, but this settlement anoys me, so I didn;t set the radio there.

My game gets a bit buggy, maybe I have some mods conflicts. I don't have much of them, but they may conflict. I have situations, when hostile mobs are alive, but not moving, They let me kill them, and they don't defend themselves.

Hello. The people of this family at Somerrville place - 3 of them, dad and 2 kids - like to walk east from there. East - close to the settlement is a statue and a raider try to paint it. if you want to find those 3 people always there, check at night. They sleeping in the house.

i think, sometimes is better not to return to Preston for more minutemen quests. Just go to settlement locations and try to talk to the settlers.

A minutemen quest can be finish without go back and tell to Preston.

if someone start a new game, maybe Preston can help to get the settlements, the game, have, but many times send the character to the same settlements for more problems of the settlers there.

i think, is better to load a older save and just don't go to Preston, anymore.

That's all. Thanks.

You can see which quests and scripts keep them as variables or aliases by opening the console and typing "Prid RefID" (like "Prid 1E81D6"), then "SV RefID". SV is short for Show Variables. What quests do you see?
