btcorrad
I've tried the prefs file but no matter what, I can't set the windowed mode to anything other than 800x600 or 1280x768. Any ideas? I've seen some post that you can't set windowed to native but then I've seen videaos where people do that effortlessly through the prefs file. I just want to run in 1920x1080. Any ideas or assist would be most appreciated

btcorrad
Are you not able to set it through the launcher? Correct - can't set the windowed mode to anything other than 800x600 or 1280x768 - using the launcher options or by trying to force res with the prefs file.http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/41381/? ?That mod is exactly why I'm trying to change my windowed res - so that I can use that. However, before running it you have to set windowed mode and resolution from the launcher. 800x600 or 1280x768 are the only resolutions in the drop down. And if I set anything in the FalloutPrefs file, it simply removes 1280x768 from the list and then refuses to run in anything but 800x600. So the alt-tab fix is nice and borderless - and stuck at 800x600. Thanks for the replies guys, any help is appreciated.

blove
Try renaming your INI files as .BAK or something and running the launcher so that the game recreates them.
