One eye closed/slashed shut.

Such a thing can be possible with Nifskope I believe. I've seen people modifying the lips on a character's face so that it may seem that the character has a slurred mouth.(like Sylvester Stallone)

Typically one would have to edit the femalehead.nif model to have it arch down the eyelid for chosen eye.

It's definitely do-able, I'll try it out this week as I have some experience working with head models.

Also you should note that this change would affect any and all vanilla NPCs that are in Skyrim.

If you want this cosmetic change for your player character, you'd have to make a custom race and remake your character based in that race and it's presets so that it may use the custom femalehead.nif model and that model only.

Any luck so far? :)

My guy's race is unique -- it's the Nephirhiim race. Would I be able to modify the male head to get the eye the way I like? How do I modify mesh in Nifskope? I only know how to do that with automax, and I definitely don't know how to manipulate the eyelids with automax.

I meant the Ningheim race. :P

From 21crescendo:

"Hi there, well I tried removing a finger with Nifskope but as you'd expect, removing it causes the texture to collapse. Now I can edit the texture to make it seem to compensate for the missing node but there has to be better way of doing it but i just cant seem to figure it out.

I also tried to do the same with the eyelid but I couldn't find a "bone" for the eyelid. As far as I can construe, the eyelid is only a part of the texture and when the actor shuts the eye, the texture is just stretched over the eye nif/model.

Anyway do let me know if you figure it out! :)"

I've tried, but can't find what governs eye blinks. Does anyone know?

Badunka-bump!

I've gotten able to alter the mesh in autodesk, but I still can't get it to load properly. I have a scar texture that will look pretty cool if I can figure out how to control the blinking. Anyone have any ideas? I think it has to do with whatever script is used to control eyeblinks.

I've noticed that in certain angles with low theta at one eye a single lid will close, which makes me wonder if it is governed by some angle threshold? If true, I could always set the angle to 0, it would solve the problem. Who wouldn't love to see some one eyed bastards for DL on the Nexus!
