Nevarakka
Hello. I'm from the Source Modding Community. I used to Mod for garrysmod. I'm now tired of its limitations and I'm now after something more fresh and new. I have a model that I want to import to Skyrim as a playable character:http://www.flickr.com/photos/60108153@N05/6458249659/http://www.flickr.com/photos/60108153@N05/9417734643/I know how to use 3DS Max, I know how to rig, I just don't know how to get her into my game. Guides say to use the FO3 Archive Utility. I can't figure out how to run it. The Skyrim Forum isn't helpful. Thanks.
pkleiss
I don't think you don't need the FO3 Archive utility as that (if you googled it) is a nexus mod that packs your loose files into a custom BSA. You need a tool like Nifskope to create a mesh that is compatible with the game you are trying to import to. I hear that the NIFs used by Skyrim are not the same as those for Oblivion/Fallout 3, so the links on the bottom of the Nifskope page regarding 'alchemy' may not exactly apply to Skyrim. You may have to do your own research to find just how the Skyrim NIF needs to be setup.
