Black textures upon entering towns & cities

[Darvish94]

Having some trouble with mods that currently makes the game unplayable. Upon getting close to cities - I assume upon entering their cells - the ground and trees get black, the game stutters, then freezes completely. Tested so far upon approaching Riverwood and Falkreath.

I am also using Dark & Somber ENB (Hircine), but that seems to be working fine.

I have tried uninstalling (and then reinstalling) ETaC, ELFX, and SMIM, to no avail.
