Niobia
I'm currently editting NPC in the game. Well, actually just the females. I'm going down the list of each one and just editting their race (to custom ones), face, and hair. My question is: Do all of these NPCs listed in the GECK appear in the actual game? Like the ones that have "0" under count? I would assume that means there are 0 copies of that NPC in the game. But there theres the category that says users. It seems like major NPCs like Sunny Smiles have a higher "User" number than the other minor NPCs, but my confusion comes in with the many MPCs that have 0 "Counts" but 3 or 4 "Users". Maybe some of these 0 count NPCs aren't int he game but something in the game (like an event/quest stage) generates them or something? I'm basically asking if I need to bother with editting these NPCs with a count of zero because if they will show up in the game at all, I'd like to have them converted/editted. I'd also like to know what "Users" mean. I assume something related to quests or scripts using the NPC.
jazzisparis
The Count column indicates how many instances of that specific form are actually placed in a game cell, whereas the Users column indicates the number of references to that specific form from other objects (such as leveled lists, scripts, dialogue, AI packages, etc.).You can ignore Editor IDs where both the Count and Users columns are 0.
