KenshiSan
i have resently beaten Operation Anchorage and i hadn't found fort independence yet so i decided to do so... when i arrived i found that all the outcast members in the area are hostile towards me. is there a way to reset their "friend gauge" or a mod that will let me turn them non-hostile so i can do the other outcast quest? i thought about the disguise mod but i also read that the leader takes away any outcast armor you own so i don't think that will work... KenshiSan
no... the two main characters at the outpost are fine and he guards outside are fine... that chick that you get the quest from and the turret in front of the building are the only ones that are hostile... i have figured out a really retarded way to solve my problem though... i have the "disguises" mod so i wear it to talk to whatever her name is then talk to the main guy he takes my clothes, give him 50 points worth of tech on the spot, become friends of the outcast then console kill and resurrect all that still hate me... it is an extremely stupid process and completely cheating and i would rather not have to go through that much drama but if no-body has any other ideas... Strayfe
For some odd reason, some of the Outcasts become hostile when you take stuff from the armory. I have no idea why, but that may be the answer to your problems.
Gafgar Adolis
Some of the Outcasts attempt to double-cross you and become hostile as soon as you open the armory. They'll attempt to kill you, the scribe, and their unit leader. This is a normal part of the mod. Just wait for them to stop talking before you start shooting, or ALL the Outcasts will turn hostile. nosoulking
If you wait a few days after the last engagement you've had with them they should be friendly again. The game is programmed so 24 or 48 hours in game time, is the time needed for the faction you attack to became friendly again. Just don't run into any of them until that much time has past. That should fix it.
KenshiSan
cool thanks, yeah the problem was with the outcast outside the armory, i'll try to see if they are friendly after waiting a while
CWRice
I absolutely hate that OA ends that way. Someone asking you for help, while being jerks to you the entire time and then double crossing you? Not fun. I sort of liked the idea of the outcasts until I played OA. Here's hoping you get to wipe the jerks out in Broken Steel.

I was friendly with them until I got bored and broke into Fort Independence via the Unlock cheat, at which point I ended up shooting a bunch of them. When I found the fingers, I was like: "The heck? These guys are actually evil?"
