Survival Mode is much less boring than all other modes or levels. This is due to several factors. Among those are the small, unpredictably life threatening incidents that pop up every now and then right from the beginning. Also, if you don't really take it easy and watch what you're doing you'll die a lot. My view is that one goes slow, plans carefully, and doesn't go charging in as one can in the less demanding modes.
