I've always been a fan from when i was a kid rushing home after school to watch the next new episode of Gundam Wing on Toonami and my favorite mech was the Heavyarms one which had a sort of wrist mounted minigun. This would be a cool adaption for the power armor in fallout 4. Could even use the 10mm pistol animation obviously with out the pistol but maybe have so sort of trigger handle come from underneath the wrist to the hand to even keep the hand animation of gripping a handle or firing trigger. If i knew how to mod or had the time to spend on it I def would try this myself but was thinking it as a cool idea I'm not even sure if its possible with how mods work or using what ever 3d program that modders use blender, or what not.
