eliteslasher Posted December 1, 2021 Share Posted December 1, 2021 Now I'm not sure if anyone has already made this or not and just put it under a mod name using really crappy key words or if this is in production maybe (which would be cool), but here's the idea.-You walk up to a grindstone, but you're on the wheel side of it. You hit interact. You DON'T teleport, but rather the game keys you into the NPC paths required and begins walking you to the actual node point where you (if needed) put your weapon away, and begin the animation to mount the sharpening wheel.-You're at the smelter in Riverwood. From there, behind the railing, you can hit the interact on the forge, but instead of "POOF!" I've teleported and I'm now using the forge, you again use the NPC paths to walk around the front, up the steps, past the stupid child who won't stfu about her desires to be a great blacksmith like here father, approach the node point, put your weapon away if needed, and begin using the forge.Also, I am not editing my above part, but perhaps your weapon, if you have it out, is sheathed "before" the walking to node part rather than after. All this time while walking also, you are unable to see the menu until you actually get into the crafting animation on the node. Also, say maybe a dragon, or an assassin, or perhaps wolf pack attacks while you are walking to the node. By simply drawing your weapon, you would cancel the walking process where you are, and be free to move about and fight as usual. Now all this could be translated to any type of node that teleports you perhaps. Ore nodes, cooking spots, etc.Again, not sure if this exists or if someone is working on something similar, I just haven't seen it personally.
