dr.10w30 Posted August 10, 2003 Share Posted August 10, 2003 I would like to see some pretty spooky stuff in the game. Because skeletons and ancient ghosts don't cut it for me. I need something that could strike fear into the guards. something that would make them run and cry like little girls. Oh yeah I know nothing about using the construction set. But I think my ideas are pretty possible to do. Here are some ideas. wait maybe you wake up to some one banging on the door so you open the door and its late at night and the FOG is so thick you can't see your weapon in front of you and you hear footsteps in the distance but you don't know who it is and you start to walk faster and faster and you search around for a guard and you see one but why is he sleeping on-the-job you check his pulse and he has none something must the killed him just recently because his body is warm you feel the breath of someone behind you so you turn quickly and holy $@#$ you are surrounded by Dead rotting pirates. I think it would be cool to be attacked by Jason Voorhees. Or waking up and the city is overrun by flesh eating zombies like from night of the living Dead. Or walking around late at night you get jumped by Jack the Ripper. I like scary stuff and I like horror movies. I posted some of these ideas on other posts. So you might have read then already. Paste.* Love that ability. :) Isnt there a mod called Darkland being made thats supposed to be scary? Theres always The Illuminated Order plug-in that can be pretty scary in a Lovecraftian way (I nearly freaked when Dagon was mentioned in a book.) I thought it would be kinda of scary if your were in a dungeon or tomb and you kept seeing glimpses of some kind of horrific creature which builds up supsense until you finally see it, and it turns out to be something so horrible and vile that all you can do is run as the thing unremorsefully chases you. I think that H.P Lovecraft's "fundemental premise that common human laws and interests.... mean nothing to the cosmos-at-large." Would work nicely in a situation like this. (God.
