JpBiesarck Posted December 2, 2021 Share Posted December 2, 2021 (edited) I used to play normaly on skyrim, but after some months without play the game i noticed very lag spike in game... i recently update my nvdia drivers its should the problem? i have a Intel® Core i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.70 GHz , and gtx 1050 ti + 16gb ram in dual channel, and my monitor are 1280x1024. xkkmEl Posted December 5, 2021 Share Posted December 5, 2021 Not sure what you mean by "lag spike". If you mean the game seems to freeze for 10s or more once in a whilte, seemingly randomly, that's usually caused by "save file bloat". Some mod is adding a lot of data to your save files, and so autosave, quicksave, waiting and going through load doors take a noticeable amount of time.
