Is there any male overhaul mods where they don't look like gay models?

LOL. I suppose you mean Androgynous like the HIMBO Mod right? Yeah there is one.

Check out Tempered Skins for Males. Very good looking.

In Fomod you can find the Stubbled Faces option which also mimics ''Shaved Beard texture'' even if no beard and blends very well while making the Faces more realistic and non plastic.

There is also Tempered Skins for Females which makes them also Realistic looking. For NPC Overhauls you might find WICO or Northbourne NPCs being Perfect as well. There are other too i don't remember. Anima Nera for a non-Barbie doll Serana Replacer is also good.

For Male Hair that is more close to Skyrim and not Highly Stylish, you can try VHR (Vanilla Hair Replacer) or simply Salt & Wind Hair Retexture.

 

Keep in mind, depending on your Weather or Lightning mod setup you might need a good source for Subsurface Scattering to make the Skin Textures not stand out too much from the distance and blend in nicely with the rest of the game. ENB has the option but there might be also alternatives from what i heard.

Biggest trouble you'll have is finding High Quality Traditional non-High Poly Head Overhauls for NPCs, this is because the High Poly Head can give better Quality with less Work and if you do good Work it will be even better so its used more often lately.

Not a problem for load orders that focus on Vanilla Game plus Visual Overhauls but its wise to limit load to leave room for more mods later ''Build on a Save so to speak'' if you go for full Gameplay/ Roleplay/ Quest Mods etc.
