Hey fellow Wastelanders

I've modding a great custom armor that you ALL will enjoy, just trust me on this, its gonna be as great as the warhammer series armor (if not better?)

The thing is, i've finished the model, and made the UV map, then i painted the UV map and saved the texture as a .dds file.

In blender I can open the texture image in the UV editer nand when it renders it looks so graet!

now everything after that is not working. in Nifskope its just a model no textures :( cannot add to GECK either. what is my next step?

If someone would like to go 50/50 on this project that would be great! you need to trust me this armor project is going to rock the nexus once completed. Just can't do it all on my own :(

NEED a partner!!! or at least some sound advice? how to go from model.nif to most cool mod in FO3? I'm just missing a few things >_<

Like i said, i did the UV wrap, the uv file i saved was x2048 and i painted it in PaintDotNet and saved as a .dds

pretty much i need to know what to do from this point!

This link to the image below shows what it looks like when i open it in Nifskope. The texture is not there???

If someone with experience wuold agree to be a partner on this i will send you my .nif file models and the .dds textures and everything i have.

Once this is finished all thousands of people can enjoy!

One way that I think you could fix this is to make a copy of an existing vanilla armour .nif, and copy the NiTriStripsData block from your .nif, and paste it over the NiTriStripsData block in the vanilla one. Then save it as a new .nif. Just a suggestion however, and purely theoretical :)

i think Flobulon is right there. It looks like it didnt export with the BSShaderTextureSet node.

Thanks, yeah it didnt export with those BSShader nodes. Copying the tristrips data into a vanilla.nif worked too. great guys.

keep watching you will see a great mod from me soon! ;)
