[REQ] FOOK Enclave BFG/Energy Fatman contest

Hello children, a not-so-small request from the FOOK team.

 

Enclave BFG/ENERGY FATMAN CONTEST

 

See we have a "Small" problem here in Fook: We are currently looking for a UNIQUE weapon to fulfill a... certain role. That is, a unique weapon (prototype) "Energy Fatman" in the enclave that will be the "Equivalent" to the BOS's Fatman launcher. To put it more bluntly, we need a Enclave "Big Fooking Gun"

 

NORMALLY we would ask someone who's already made such a weapon for permission to use it. But we seem to have run into a small problem: There is no weapon currently made that would fufill such a role. Or at least none that have their own models.

 

SOOOOOOOOOooooo... what do you know? We decided to make a contest. Best model for a "really big energy explosive weapon" will be used for the unique weapon described above.

 

So without further adeu, here are the rules of the contest:

1. Weapon MUST have its own model and texture at the bare minimum. So no Missile Launchers/Plasma Rifles pretending to be a BFG

 

2. Weapon must have their own projectile. Custom projectile must be a big ball-like projectile (Like the Quake/Doom BFG), or must be a resized version of the Plasma Projectile at the bare minimum, so no liberty prime laser weapons (we already got plenty of weapons that use the liberty prime laser projectile). Color however can be either blue or green. Custom explosion is recommended, but not necessary.

 

3. Weapon must be held over the shoulder (like the missile launcher) Or held like a rilfe/automatic. You could also used a 2-handed handle type weapon, but this is generally not recommended.

 

4. Weapon must be BIG. This is a very large energy weapon we're talking about here, weapons must be at least the size of a rocket launcher/minigun. we will not use anything the size of an AK-47 or anything smaller.

 

5. No Classic Fallout stuff. No P94 Plasma Rifle models or classic rocket launchers. This is a NEW weapon developed by the enclave JUST after they settled into Raven Rock. Has to be a weapon NEVER seen before in the fallout universe. Weapon can either be 100% original or can be pulled out of some other genre (IE the BFG9000 from Doom 3 or the BFG10000 from Quake.)

 

6. Try to keep it at least somewhat man-made. We don't need anything that's too alien in appearance (Like the strider canon from Half Life 2).

 

7. Texture must indicate that this is a NEW weapon. Not some sort of Pre-war junk.

 

 

To submit your entry for the contest, submit your weapon to FO3nexus with [FOOK CON] in the title somewhere.

 

Winner will of course have their weapon featured in FOOK as fully operational.. Runner-Ups will have their weapons featured as the Enclave's "Scrapped Prototypes" for display throughout Raven Rock, and may find other uses as time goes by.

 

Another winner may also be selected to star in yet another Enclave weapon-related role: a replacement for the Missile Launcher. This weapon will of course be much weaker than the "Enclave BFG"
