Vectordancer
I scarcely know what I'm doing here. I'm attempting to install FOOK with FOMM but I can get as far as the instruction to locate the file using the "Create from folder" action before everything falls apart. Simply put, I cannot locate the file it's asking for. There is no file named "FOOK v1-1 Required Files". I don't know if I'm using the manager incorrectly or if I've somehow failed to extract the files in the proper manner. I've attached a screencap of my mods folder in case something is amiss. Would appreciate some insight.
ma1025
Download FOOK v1.1 Required Files and just save the download to your desktop. Open FOMM and go to the package manager. Just select Add FOMod and pick the archive file you downloaded. I've never had any problems installing FOOK this way. Do the same with FOOK v1.1 Optional Files if you want them. Then download FOOK 1.12 ESMs and just drag them to your Data folder. Edited August 18, 2013 by ma1025
Vectordancer
I'm confused as to how it worked but sending them to the dekstop and selecting 'extract here' miraculously sent them to the NV mods folder. I don't really understand but thank you. However as to the last direction you gave I cannot locate a folder named data.
Vectordancer
Well I figured out that last part, but regrettably am still in the dark. What's confusing me is first that I don't understand why there are duplicate entries for the esm files in the manager. Is it because I stupidly extracted them first to the mod folder before I extracted them to the data folder? Should I delete the ones in the mod folder? Bear in mind that they never appeared either on the load order manager or when I was searching for them via the package manager when they were only in the mod folder, only later when they were in both folders. Secondly, why aren't the required or optional files appearing in the load order manager? Edited August 21, 2013 by Vectordancer
