Feet sinking into ground bug, please read

Solution to this problem was:

Uninstall Show Race Menu PreCache killer mod

And re install Enchanced Character Edit

 

Now my Showracemenu crashes again without this mod ... But i will fix it somehow, maybe try install Precache mod again. Thank you for trying to help

Two ways l found you can fix this issue if you have having it. You need SKSE installed for my two methods to work.

Main issue is probably your Z Axis in comparison to your character model scale.

Press ~

Type: Showracemenu

Go to: Body

1) Adjusting your Skeleton Z axis.

2) Adjust your skeleton scale size.

Hope it helps.

Are you using ECE or Racemenu? Racemenu doesn't normally have z-axis or skeleton scale I don't think unless you're using a plugin.

I started a new game racemenu 3.2.0 now have the same issue feet sinking into the floor does anyone have a fix?

All NPC don't have this problem. I also noticed after loading the game, my character is slightly different for a moment (different face and light hair), and her feet are as they should be above the ground. and then it changes (to my character) and she sinks >o<

well i have that problem and i solve it so if u have Hdt high heels mod instaled so i tried to reinstall the mod and that didnt work for me too but u can try to load the game from other save game if u have or if u dont have than try to start new game and see what happens good luck

i think you can fix that by the following steps

1 press ` button and type "Showracemenu"

2 go to the sex slider and change the gender if is male change to female or opposite that helped me in that case :D good luck

Two steps needed first uninstall XP32 and joy of perspective manually look on Data\meshes\Actors\Character\_1st person delete this and reinstall XP32 again mostly the problem is with skeleton

There is another fix for it, for race menu, at least in my case. But only for high heels and hdt mod for giving extra hight with heels. Vanilla boots/shoes/etc works fine. I usually tweek my characters a lot and all characters but one (a succubus race), get this problem when i die and game does reload, feet on ground. For me 2 solutions work for racemenu. First you go to racemenu (~ key besides 1- write showracemenu - bodyscales,and you go to height of character just do 1 up or down and back without any high heels shoes on. The other is go to main menu and load from there. Yes my problem is different, but might work too.

I have the exact same problem as Darkana and the exact same fix: sometimes, totally at random, my character will have her feet sunk into the ground. It's like the game "forgets" the adjustment of HDT heels with them on, and then after unnequiping them the lessened height persist.

 

I fix it either by loading from the main menu/restarting, or by adjusting height in the Racemenu. I'd like to know the reason it happens and a permanent fix, 'cause it's annoying.

i removed all my equipment. then went out of whiterun by jumping over the wall near the entrance of Whiterun. finally you fast travel back and it s done.
