A Blade in the Dark

I'm playing in Skyrim VR, and not too long ago I was a stone throw away from going batshit crazy. I've done everything I could think of, and everything that was suggested in the link below in the bugs section to correct the issue I'm having with this mission. After defeating Sahloknir to continue the quest... Delphine appears to be broken and does not advance the quest. Somebody please tell me that in the last 10+ years that there has been a mod created to fix this issue so that we don't have to go through the rigmarole of being able to continue the story. :(
