AngelHeart Posted August 20, 2013 Share Posted August 20, 2013 Hi, I am relatively new to playing Dragon Age Origins on a PC. Have played it extensively on consoles, but felt I was missing out on the opportunity to use the amazing mods people have created. So, I am a bit of a noob when it comes to using them and getting them to work. That said, I have got quite a few downloaded and working (and just as many that aren't...lol) I recently completed a playthrough and started a new game to find a number of the previously working mods no longer do so. I have searched through the forums and followed troubleshooting instructions to try and fix the problems to no avail. I am wondering if the best idea would to be uninstall everything and start from scratch. I am not concerned about losing my current playthrough as I enjoy the game so much it won't be a trial to start again. There are several different kinds of mods for Dragon Age, and the ways to get them working depend on which type they are. There's a Nexus Wiki article to which I'd refer you, except that the Nexus Wiki is down at the moment.The same basic information is here: Using Dragon Age Mods for Dummies, but that version hasn't been updated nearly as recently as the other. Start the new game, save, exit, turn mods back on, open save and the new equipment should be in your inventory But the easiest way is to say specifically which mods aren't working Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I ended up deleting everything and uninstalled the game and am about to start downloading mods again. Is there any specific order I should do them in? I am going to do it in a more controlled manner this time... went mad and dowloaded everything at the same time and then I may have got mixed up with how each file was to be done... and consequently some didn't work.
