The only way to avoid it is god mode and I don't want to go around the entire game in god mode. Anyone have any idea what could be causing it? I'd hate to have to do another fresh install. I can verify that it is my saved file and not my game files. I just started a new game to see if the same thing would happen and it didn't Edit - While I was posting this I was also in the process of doing a little searching around on Google and the solution I found worked. For anyone that may also be having this issue if you have the dead money DLC and have completed it and you're having the problem I was then it may be this... Sometimes the scripts for the toxic cloud can break and make it so that you are always taking damage from the cloud whether you're in it or not. So you complete the Dead Money DLC and once you leave the area you start losing health constantly. This may be do to said broken script.
