genovauk
It is and it isn't, in a cell it gets cramped, you use grid\angle snap alot more, With the exterior you have more freedom to move around and instead of interior building blocks, you use the exterior building blocks. Also you have to find the right spot if you don't want to do alot of landscape editing which you inevetably have to do to make the landscape form around your building\s better, In some cases you have to remove or move rocks and trees and other various bits of outside clutter. Trying to find a unique spot can be tricky, Do you want it or not want it close to another city or area are there leveled listed creatures you need to move or remove etc... It might sound complicated but it's not really. Just play around with the editor without saving to get the hange of what things do what, what is movable, finding good places to put things. Also in general there is no scripting involved with exterior building as alot of the mods that edit the exterior tend to do so as a means for the player to get into the interior you have created. Hope this helps, I'm sure others will put in their opinion too. It's all a case of practicing and messing with things.
