Weird armour texture issue.

Hello there, people.

I'm having an admittedly minor but nonetheless irritating graphical issue with F:NV, specifically, the armour at the edge of the screen when viewing the Pipboy or aiming is strangely low-res all of a sudden.

(I did the console fov thing in the second one to make it more obvious.)

I'm wearing the Desert Ranger Combat Armour but tried NCR Facewrap Armour with the same blurry result; meanwhile, when wearing the Advanced Radiation Suit, the Pipboy arm just turns invisible. Now, I'm certain that this is entirely my fault but I don't know how to fix it or what I even did. Alright - one thing I did was delete some landscape meshes from a mod that were causing trouble with a texture mod but my arms aren't landscape.

Display settings are set to high. Honestly, I'm not sure what information would be relevant here since I didn't change any settings or anything between "everything looks fine" and "strange blurry mess".

On a sidenote, in the process of trying to fix this I somehow managed to make my HUD brackets disappear (don't ask, I wouldn't know how I did that either).

I feel somewhat stupid and would appreciate any help with this.

Not sure about the first problem your having but the second problem, where your hud brackets have disappeared, could be because you have accidentally turned them off in Adjustable hud.

Turning them off and back on in aHUD was actually the first thing I tried after they had disappeared and that didn't help. However, the brackets are back now - I uninstalled and reinstalled the HUD mods, seems like I broke one of them somehow. Should stop touching things without instructions.

 

Edit: I broke more things.

 

 

 

These... plants are scattered around. When I save and reload, they disappear. I swear I didn't touch anything this time, maybe I just didn't notice them before since I wasn't really running around outside.

 

Another edit: Plant problem solved. Vurt's WFO, or rather, my lack of VRAM, appears to have caused that problem. Blurry sleeves remain.
