broomemike
I've been trying to use this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/33658 miniskirt mod, but I can't seem to equip both a top and a bottom at the same time. It doesn't seem to be a problem with just this mod, because a few others have the same issue. I've rebuilt the body and the outfil with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/44412, thinking it might be an issue with the body... To no avail. It seems to be that any time I equip an item of type "body", the panties disappear and the skirt is unequipped. In fact, the panties remain equipped but don't appear again, even after I remove the "body" item. I can only guess something is seriously wrong with my slots, but I haven't a clue how to fix this, and am wondering if anyone knows about this... Maybe it's just a mod install order thing? *hopefully*
broomemike
Actually, I'm starting to think it's a devious devices issue. Anyone else ever experience this? Edited December 20, 2021 by broomemike
wfandrews
Neither of those mods have been updated since the Anniversary Edition came out. If you are playing the AE version of SSE it is a possibility that could be your problem.
anjenthedog
In addition to what @wfandrews suggested, note that the mod in question was made for CBBE-3BBB and CBBE-SMP and was last updated way back in March of 2020. If you're using a CBBE-3BA body, I'm not sure if it's still compatible without doing some "minor surgery" via Outfit studio and replacing the reference body (especially with that CBBE-SMP reference in the mod name) In any case, in my experience, it's not an "uncommon" issue. I have installed several outfit mods over the past ~year which provide component-based clothing/armor that behave the same way, both for my CBBE-3BBB female player and for my BHUNP followers (I use CBBE-3BBB and BHUNP v1).. And yes, I mean both CBBE-3BA armors and BHUNP armors to be clear. Equip the top and the bottom disappears, equip the bottom and the top disappears. Most have been uninstalled as a result. In the beginning, there was CBBE, and all were happy with the breast and butt bounce and life was good. CBBE begot CBBE-Advanced CBBE-Advanced begot CBBE-SMPCBBE-SMP begot CBBE-3BBBCBBE-3BBB begot CBBE-3BA (the current CBBE standard) Each new generation has added new features. (note this afaik is also dependent on the steady improvements to the skeleton as well as improvement sin SMP and CBPC) CBBE had only breast and butt bounce (AFAIK) and was originally designed for use with CBPC (?only?)... (omitted cuz the inbetweeners aren't what you probably want) CBBE-3BA has Breast, Butt, Belly (hence the "3BBB" or "3BA" suffixes) and other "wubba" or "bounce" capabilities, as well as genital features. It also responds to both CBPC and SMP physics. If you want to be current, and your computer will handle it, AND you want to use a CBBE family body (vs, for instance, UNP or its latest child BHUNP v2), I'd recommend CBBE-3BA Note that the most current iterations of either CBBE or UNP will require the installation of HDT-SMP and CBPC... To other, more learned readers...Forgive me if I left something out or misspoke, as I am but a humble player with only the knowledge of a woodsman turned to dragon god. Oh, and fyi, as far as body textures go, afaik all CBBE bodies can use CBBE-family body textures, (just as the UNP family can use UNP textures... and yes, they have their own series of iterative improvements too, just to overcomplicate my reply
