NifSkope bad texture path

I have a new system, all the software is reinstalled, the only thing I transferred from the old computer is the mod archive and NifSkope. When I run NifSkope, some nif files are ok, but some of them have a strange textur path and don't display textur correctly (at all) for me.
It looks something like this:
C:\Projects\Fallout4\Build\PC\Data\materials\...
This directory does not even exist on my C drive
Restore all the settings to defaults (in Options/Settings/Resources), changing the location of the program or even downloading a newer Beta version does not change anything, all Paths and Archives link in Settings ar correct set, someone has an idea ...

This sounds like original paths perhaps made by other modders for their assets? Are these nifs/textures created by someone else? In any case, for the nifs with the odd texture paths, you will need to change the texture paths to the current location of where the textures are located on your computer.

It doesn't matter where you have the files. If you clicked on nif in whatever directory it is located in, the path for the textures will point to the entry made for that nif (even if it's not on your computer). That is why, when you create your own mod, and move it to your own directory within theFO4/Data folders, you also have to change the paths of your textures.

For instance: I make a mod and release the assets (nifs and textures) as a modder's resource for others to use. The directory I have in my files is Textures/NexBeth/Armor/Texturefile.dds. That's not going to change when you download it. If you wish to change directory, then you'll need to make the changes yourself. Most modders releasing resources still use the standard directory so that if you just drop the files in the existing game directory, they show up fine without any modifications. But some modders don't do that. They have the files in their own directory. It is then up to you to change it. And when you create a mod, it is better to have your own unique directory anyway so that the files you plan to use don't get modified by the the addition of other mods that have altered the files.

Now, perhaps I misunderstand your problem and I'm giving you info that doesn't related to your current situation?
