Armor and clothes for original bodies

First, apologies if I posted this in wrong section, I wasn't sure if this belongs to mods specifically.

So I haven't used mods for Oblivion until recently, not too much stuff anyway, just editing of already existing content in the game with a bit of new textures or such.

I wanted to add some new clothes in game too, and saw some pretty ones on this site, but they were all for some custom body types which I wouldn't ever use, so I'm wondering, would these clothes work with original models?

Also... does anyone use original models anymore, and make clothes for them?

Some of them will work with the vanilla bodies, but generally once an NPC equips clothing meant for a modded body type the clothing's proportions still matches the body type it's meant for. For example, if you use vanilla bodies and you equip a dress meant for HGEC, while you wear the dress your body would change to match HGEC proportions.

 

I don't think many people use vanilla bodies anymore... If people don't want nudity they usually use an underwear version of a body mod such as HGEC or Robert's. And if people want a new high-quality body similar to vanilla, they usually choose Robert's Male and Female.

I've just installed Robert's v4 male and v12 female replacers and they indeed look similar to original ones, however I did find several other versions of Robert's body replacers.

I'm having a little problem with missing eyes on npcs right now, but I guess my clothes problem is solved. Thank you again.
