jazzisparis Posted August 24, 2013 Share Posted August 24, 2013 "info.xml" files inside of "fomod" folders can be safely ignored if installing manually.how to install manually?by the manager?i now just put them in data,i think i am wrong Installing a mod manually means extracting the downloaded file into your Data folder, as opposed to activating the downloaded file from the mod manager (FOMM/NMM). info.xml stores mod info (such as author, website, etc.), and is only used by the mod manager.When installing a mod manually, the entire fomod folder can be ignored/deleted. Ignore my last post as I have no experience with FOMODs and thus did not recognize the XML file you cited as related to that procedure. Apparently Info.xml IS NOT a fallout xml menu file.
