SiniVII
Currently I am trying to use Luchaire's Tabaxi cat race V2, however the textures on the females are completely messed up. The textures on the male body is fine, but the female is in a totally different state. What could be the cause of Textures stocking around on the body like this? I have two images of it: http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q212/Sh...creenShot10.jpg http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q212/Sh...ScreenShot9.jpg I would be overjoyed if someone could help me with this issue since I really want to try this mod. BossDweebe
Just guessing. It's been a while since I saw the Tabaxi Mod.Are you using the vanilla male body and a Exnem/HGEC female ?The Tabaxi may be rigged for the vanilla meshes, and is not compatiblewith the Exnem/HGEC.The vanilla bodies use more textures maps and different UV maps. SiniVII
I see... That makes sense. It occurs for khajiits as well unless I use Roberts Male body V4. Im gonna ask the author of this mod about it. THank you very much :)
BossDweebe
Just looked into my archives. I still have the Tabaxi Race mod afterall. The tabaxi race is compatable with Robert male and BAB female as wellas Exnem/ HGEC.I have only had a quick look, but all the necessary textures are supplied in the mod. You just have to use the approproiate esp. My tendency would be to just put the textures I want to use in the appropriate folder and leave the extras out. From the screen shot I would guess that you will want to use Roberts Maleto go with what looks like HGEC Hcup maybe ? and use the esp labled BAB, Robert. I am sure I understood 70% of what you said here, But what ESPs are you talking about? And what does BAB mean? Do you mean I am using the wrong ESPs or...? Sorry I am a newbie :(

BossDweebe
The esp's are those little Swiss Army Knife icons. These are created in the Tess Construction Set andtell Oblivion where to find the meshes, textures andother relevant information. You will only use one of them. There are 4. Looking more closely this time I see that you could use the BAB espif you have not installed a male body replacer (Robert being the only one).Equally if you have only installed the male replacer. Then you would use the Robert esp.The default esp is just what it says. This may seem confusing, but the reason for this is that this is a well presented mod, and the author has gone through a good deal of trouble to make it compatible with mods that werepopular 2 years ago. BAB is another (earlier) female body mod. This mod happens to use thesame path name for the female texture (foot) as does Exnem/HGEC. This is why the esp for BAB works with Exnem/HGEC. Have you read the read me file that came with the mod ?It is a well presented read me. Read it. I suggest you look at some modding tutorials. It is also very beneficial tostudy the folder structure of the mod. This will help you understand some of the whysand wherefores. Now that you have dipped your toe in the waters of modders creek you willwant to do more, and more, and....
