Favorite movies

Mine are probably Unforgiven, The Great Escape, The Dark Knight, Watchmen, and I'm too lazy to type up 50 or so movies. These are just ones that I've seen recently that are my favorites.

Lord of the Rings (1, 2 and 3) thakes the front seat for me, followed by Austin Powers (1, 2 and 3), Reign of Fire, Underworld (1, 2 and 3), and of course Muppet Treasure Island...

I love movies with strong female types in them. Some of my favorite movies with my favorite character in the movies (in what ever order I manage to recall them):

I spend alot of time watching movies and have quite an extensive collection/list of favorites :)

 

For me it's usually a character that really stands out, even if they only have a trivial part in the movie. Some movies I would probably not watch again if it wasn't for that one character, such as Kyra in Chronicles of Riddick. I like to see women depicted as strong characters without just being a xerox copy of a male with longer hair. I think that's the kind of light I see myself in. I like some of what would be called "girly" stuff (sometimes I just need to cry), but I don't mind getting dirty or grabbing a rifle and going out to shoot something either :D

 

Sorry for the long post, movies are a bit of a passion for me. I'm sure I could easily add another 20 or so without much thought :whistling:

I have to say the dark knight looks amazing on blue ray, i suggest you get it. It is well worth the money.
