Request: Pip-boy 3rd-person remover

Every time I go into third person with full Power Armor, I don't expect to have my right hand completely exposed. I put on an awesome armor and it just ruins the symmetry of the character. It's not Chinese Stealth armor if you see a big honking computer on your hand. :wallbash: I just hope someone knows how to make this happen. You know, a Pip-Boy could probably fit in that hand held dimensional pocket that we store our stuff in. :wink:

there is a mod on the nexus that does this, though I don't remember the name

Check out "PipBoy Be Gone." It requires FOSE, in case you don't have it.

 

I myself use it, although it can be kind of a nuisance with the thicker armors. Basically, something like the Power Armor mesh is bigger than where the pipboy would be, so when the pipboy magically appears when you access the menu, portions of the screen may be obscured by the wrist armor of the left hand.
