Time to fire up the good ol' G.E.C.K.

What you Need:

G.E.C.K (Obviously)

2nd Grade Reading/Intelligence Level

A Common Sense

Slight Experience With G.E.C.K

-----------------------

Intro: The way I like to tell tutorials is to go step by step, acting like I am actually doing it for you. So hopefully this explains as much as I think it does.

-----------------------

First I fire up the G.E.C.K. I want to relocate... let's say the G3 that is placed in front of Burke's house. I want a challenge, not just a free weapon. So what do I do first?

That's easy... go to File, Data, and Tick the ESP that contains the G3. In this case, let's say it is titled "G3.esp". So I tick it... do I go and press Ok, and get it over with? No... click on Set as Active File (WITH THE ESP TICKED), and then go ahead and press Ok. So now that we just have loaded that ESP, we can modify it to our little hearts desire.

Now that we have it loaded, what we need to do is find out what the ID(not the itemID) of the Weapon is... no biggie. Normally the item is named by what it's called... so we'd search in G3(with 'All' highlighted of course), and we'd find WeapG3 in the Object Box. It just so happens the Modder thought they'd name it WeapSomeCoolWeapon. (I don't know why a talented modder would do this, but who cares, it's for learning purposes only) So what we do is simply type in "Weap". this would show a list of all of the Weapons in Fallout.

It just so happens you see a strange ID you have never seen before. You click and drag it into the Wasteland to find out it's the G3! Well guess what... you just relocated the G3. But it's kind of in the middle of the air... delete it...

Relocate to your spot of choice, and place it. Press f to floor it for faster and accurate placement. Save the ESP, and Run fallout 3. The weapon should be there if you followed my steps correctly. Now you don't need to worry about where that damned place is where you get your weapon, or you can have a challenge instead of finding some idiots overpowered rifle laying on the floor infront of their house with 6,000 556 Rounds.

PS: If there is something I have told you to type in with Quotation Marks around them (") do not type the quotations.

PSS: If you found the tutorial a bit confusing, tell me and I can re-write it.
