Darean02
Hey there, this has been driving me crazy. I'm making NPC's for my mod. The only trouble is they all have white faces regardless of the racial coloring of the rest of their bodies. For example, white face, black body. In the GECK, the models all look correct, but for some reason, ingame, the models are incorrectly colored. I'm wondering if it isn't a poorly done skin/body mod I added months ago that someone else did, that is messing things up. The strang thing however, is if I put in a black/asian/hispanic npc - both the facial and body racial coloring matches. If anyone has encountered this problem or has any advice, I'd be very appreciative. Thank you for your time and help!
Darean02
Figured it out. Thank you anyways :) Turns out you can rename the NPC, but not the actual filename the npc is based on. For whatever reason, it gives it a white face - though this is probably due to a mod (which I can't uninstall). Moral of the story: backup original files always unless you want to re-install later. :P
