Has anybody else been having problems with YouTube lately? Like, videos taking forever to load/buffer, if they ever do at all. I'm hoping that I'm not the only one having this problem and it's on YouTube's end.

I have that periodically. It's usually on my end though. Have you tried resetting your internet connection (router, modem, etc)?

I normally only get it when i'm at college or something.

However, there was some news lately that music videos are getting banned because of massive breach of copyright. I heard this was only to UK Users, but the bad buffer rate your experiencing, maybe caused by this?

Try switching to high quality, for some unknown reasons, this speeds up the buffering speed, when in theory, it makes it slower.

Kind Regards,

Could be, but I know that many users in the United States of America are also experiencing removal of most music that is not uploaded either by the artist themself or their record company (Warners, Universal). Most of this is being done by WMG (Warner Music Group ((I think)) ). But yes, switching your resolution/hi-lo def. settings may help.

I don't know about you but i have no problem accessing music videos here in Canada  , maybe its do to your laws in states and the UK.

A lot of music videos are getting removed for UK users for copyright reasons. If you live in the UK then tough luck.

Yeah, I haven't been able to access any music videos at all from the UK. It is supposedly in breach of copyright (which is tbh questionable, but I'd better not discuss that). As for speed... I get slow speeds for everything these days, so I can't tell if Youtube is having problems as well.
