Anubis408 Posted December 31, 2021 Share Posted December 31, 2021 (edited) Hi all, I am a relative newbie with FO4 mods, but I have been downloading and installing them using Vortex. Most of the stuff was small and not something I would immediately notice wasn't working like the unofficial patch and infinite ammo for companions. However, I recently downloaded a few mods that absolutely should of had immediate and noticeable differences such as settlement mods and armor mods. Note, this is not a fresh save and I am loading in an old save. All of the mods, staging folder, and downloads folder are located on the same drive as my game and all say "Enabled" with green check marks next to them. I launch the game through the Vortex launcher not through steam. Every time I hit play on the Vortex launcher it tells me mod deployment is pending and I hit deploy to launch. However, as far as I can tell, the mods are not loading in at all. Anyone know if I am missing something obvious here?? Thanks in advance! Anubis Edit1: I just did some clicking around and opened the "Game Mods" folder from the Vortex launcher and noticed there does not appear to be any files from my mods in that folder, the only files there are files (and mods) from over a year ago. So I think the game has been launching with these old mods which would be why I didn't notice anything before. I am not sure what to do here. I certainly want to load my new mods, but not sure why launching from the Vortex launcher isn't accomplishing that.
