abu0307
Good Lord, I think I'm going to kill someone. So, yesterday I bought myself a copy of Fallout 3 for Windows so I wouldn't have to duke it out with my brother every time I wanted to play it on his Xbox. I installed it just fine, and I can get it to the menu without any issues. The problem is, every time I click "New" to start the game, I get a windows error message saying "Fallout3 has stopped working," and the game promptly crashes. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game three times, but it doesn't work. My laptop is literally only a week old with a butt load of space on it, and for the price I paid for it, the video card better be kick-ass is all I can say(I have no idea what kind of card is in the thing, I only know enough about computers to get by). I also made sure I had the latest version of DirectX. SO WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING WRONG? Seriously now! I'm about ready to punch someone in the face. Am I missing some sort of software, or is my copy of the game just a dud? Or am I just an idiot when it comes to computers and I'm screwing something up? Someone out there must know the answer, and since I already sent an e-mail to tech support and probably won't be hearing from them in the next week (god damned weekends...), I beseech you, please help me. Smosh
You really need to find out the specs for your laptop and post those. It's entirely possible that your laptop doesn't meet minimum specs.
