SilverAxe001
In DAO are 2 unique armors with generic looks. I suggest to give them textures of cool-looking armors from DA2. Wade's medium armor is made from dragon scales, but looks like red splintmail armor. https://dragonage.fa...nskin_armor_set I suggest to give it dragon-like appearance of DA2 armor Quickstring's Tunic https://dragonage.fa...kstring's_Tunic 2nd armor I have in mind is The Felon's Coat. It has impressive stats, but looks like Studded Leather Armor https://dragonage.fa...he_Felon's_Coat I suggest to give it appearance of unique DA2 armor called Nightingale's Lamellar Armor https://dragonage.fa..._Lamellar_Armor What do you think of such retextures and who would you be able to make them? fraquar
I don't know if this helps, but I'll put it here anyway just in case.I use a couple of mods to do kinda what you are asking with a number of the base game items - but not for the specific models you mention. 1) The Winter Forge. This allows you to do a ton of things, but in this specific case it lets you transfer the item attributes from one item to another. A quick and easy process.2) Kirkwall Exports and Loincloth Fashions. These two mods add DA2 items ported to DA:O. You could use any custom model you wanted though (i.e. Leliana's Sacred Ashes Armor, Kossith Add-On items, etc. Ex. I'll take Fenris Coat (in Loincloth Fashions) and transfer the Felon's Coat attributes to it, overwriting what exists on the Fenris Coat. I destroy the Felon's Coat in the process (you don't have to, but I do for balance reasons). Now the Felon's Coat is actually the Fenris Coat, and if I wanted to change the name from Fenris Coat back to Felon's Coat - I could do that as well. Since the Fenris Armor is a 3 piece armor set intended to be worn together, I could even make those items part of a set - from Wade's Superior Light Set Bonus or even the Spirit of Calenhad (set bonus from The Winter Forge). The beauty of this method is you aren't stuck with the same canned model in each and every play through for the Felon's Coat (or any other item in the game). If I want to roll with Black Fox armor in another play through as the Felon's Coat, it's easy. Or maybe Kirkwall Squire's Armor, you get the point. Now imagine taking the Battledress of the Provocateur and transferring those attributes to Leliana's Sacred Ashes armor. Maybe taking the Vestment's of the Seer and transferring those attributes to Morrigan's Robes of Possession - which actually is modeled after the Sacred Ashes trailer. In other words, you don't have to make mods. Use existing mods and make your own items - in the game.
