CTD when playing the game for only a few seconds or instantly

Hi! So recently I downloaded and activated more mods for skyrim ae but now when I even just start to play the game (not being in menu's or race menu if using alternative start and race menu) I will get a ctd as I start playing and I don't know why. Sometimes it's instant, and sometimes it's a few seconds. here is my mod load order. (yes I have a bunch of incompatible mods but it was working when I had those and not what I have now)

Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about it now.

 

I know, it's quite disappointing when you start modding - only to realize your game won't run any more. It's a mistake a lot of us made at some point.

 

If you want to build up large load orders, the only somewhat "safe" way is to only add a few mods at a time and then test, test, test.

 

If there are issues, resolve them before adding anything further. If you have a mod manager, that can store profiles (e.g. Vortex or MO 2), "save" working setups by creating a profile. This way you always have a safe spot you can roll back to in case something goes wrong.

 

Troubleshooting a large load order like yours is almost impossible. Only thing you can do now is disabling mods until your game starts again - or start over and do it like I described above this time. I know this can be frustrating, but we all had to learn that lesson at some point...

Run LOOT for load order fixes and to flag mod conflicts. 90% of the time a CTD at load or right after is a load order fix or a conflict requiring compatibility patches. You can also use SSEedit to fix conflicts.
