Eiade
This RP will take place in the Morrowind world, and, for the first time (as far as I have seen), there will be two DM’s. I will be in charge of plot-related stuff, and general DMing, and Tyjet3 will be a general DM. Don’t worry, Tyjet3 and I promise to communicate a lot so we can have the same opinions/ideas to give the players the best experience possible. If you would like to join please post in this thread about the character you will play and include ALL of the following (optional items will be marked): NamePronunciation of name (optional) - please include if name is outlandishRaceGenderAge (optional)Armor/weapon preference - tell what armor you wear (netch leather, bonemold, imperial chain, to name a few), if unarmored, specify. Tell what weapon you have (katana, dagger, staff, whatever).Personality - please be descriptive. Don’t simply say ‘fights only when he has to.’Appearance/Clothing – maybe describe facial appearance and hair, describe any clothing worn. Also give words to describe general appearance, such as rugged-looking, well-kept, stout, tall. This helps other players get an impression of you.Class – include class name, majors/minors, specialization (combat, magic, stealth), and favorite attributes.History (optional) Stay in the scope of the Morrowind world! (Everything must come from the Morrowind world!) It is ok to have a character that is in a faction/has a history/whatever that is not in Morrowind, but just make it sound like it could happen in the MW world. One more thing: signing up for this RP means that you must fulfill a commitment. We ask that people in the RP post at least once a day (of course it is ok to not post when you’re on vacation or moving or something, just let everyone know you’re leaving by posting it. If something happens that is out of your control such as a power outage or computer problems, try your best to get to another computer and tell us that you can’t post.). We will only be accepting 3 or 4 more people other than Tyjet3 and myself. Tyjet3 will post the rules.
tyjet3
Rules -No Flaming. Ever. If you don’t like something that someone posted for any reason, do not tell them through the thread, it is disrespectful and can be embarrassing. The mighty Dark0ne gave us PM’s for a reason. -The entrance of your character will be decided by a DM, either Eiade or Tyjet3. If you have an idea for an entrance PM us. This is done because sometimes players will make their first post and it changes the plot, controls other characters, etc. Anyone who posts without informing a DM will not be allowed to participate. We just want to make sure everything runs smoothly and everyone is happy. -You are NEVER allowed to expand the story on your own. That is what a DM is for. DO NOT change the whole plot to focus around your character. -Grammar, punctuation, and correct capitalization. If you can’t type well, don’t join. I’m not saying that people with English as a second language can’t join, I’m talking to the ten year olds that try to join… If someone comes in not using capital letters or speaking in instant messaging language it really ruins the experience for everyone else. Ex: bob charged at the dark elf and swung his axe but the dunmer ducked and then the other bad guys were shooting arrows at him and almost hit and he was having trouble and just then joe came out of the forest to help bob and they won and stuff -In the RP we are living off nothing but words. One-liner posts may only be used on occasion. Most all of your posts are expected to be a paragraph at least. Imagery is a beautiful thing, please use it. -In the game Morrowind, your character is the hero of the lands, a mighty crusader who eventually can kill anything in one blow. In this RP, we are NOT IN THE GAME. Your character is not a mighty one-of-a-kind warrior. He/she is very vulnerable, and has their weaknesses. So don’t go around killing an enemy every post. No, your characters aren’t pathetic wanna-be posers who suck. You are allowed to have pride in your character; you don’t have to make them look inept or clueless. Just make them believable. -Character development is a big deal. You need to let everyone know who you are, why you are like that, and STAY THAT WAY in the RP. Changing character info is a no-no. You will post your character info and you will stick with that for the rest of the RP. If something needs to be changed or you accidentally put something in that didn’t need to be there, PM a DM and ask before changing. -All other RP rules apply. Power-posing, controlling other characters, etc. Read the rules in the RP section. -If you see any problems with the RP, be it storyline, a certain character, a DM’s judgment, or anything at all. Please please please PM us and let us know. Criticism IS accepted. If you see something wrong or just weird, please don’t keep it bottled up, let us know! We want this RP to be fun for everyone. -And above all of these rules, there is one rule that governs them all. Just use common sense and courtesy. These rules are not that complicated and are all done so that everyone can have fun. Please follow and respect them.
tyjet3
Story Intro During the invasion of the Empire, House Indoril and the Temple hierarchy proposed to resist to the death. Redoran and Dres stood by Indoril, with Telvanni remaining neutral. Hlaalu proposed accommodation. To make matters worse, Indoril, Dres, Hlaalu, and Telvanni refused to garrison the western borders. Indoril and Dres proposed, rather than defend the western border, instead to withdraw to the interior and fight a guerilla war. With Hlaalu advocating accommodation, and Telvanni remaining neutral, Redoran felt they would have to stand alone against the Empire. The situation changed radically when Vivec appeared in person in Vivec City to announce his negotiation of a treaty with Emperor Tiber Septim. Indoril swore they would resist to the death, with the loyal support of Dres, while Redoran, grateful for a graceful excuse to avoid facing the legions unsupported, joined with Hlaalu in welcoming the agreement. Telvanni, seeing which way the wind blew, joined with Hlaalu and Redoran in supporting the treaty. The Lord High Councilor of the Grand Council, an Indoril, refused to accept the treaty, and refused to step down. He was assassinated, and replaced by a Hlaalu. House Hlaalu took the opportunity to settle some old scores with House Indoril, and a number of local councils changed hands in bloody coups. More blood was shed in these inter-house struggles than against the Imperial Legions during Morrowind's transition from an independent nation to a province of the Empire. By contrast, many Indoril nobles chose to commit suicide rather than submit to the Empire, with the result that the House was significantly weakened during the period of transition, guaranteeing that they would lose much of their influence and power to House Hlaalu, whose influence and power was waxing with its enthusiastic accommodation with the Empire. The Temple hierarchy more skillfully managed their loss of face, remaining aloof from political struggles, and earning the good will of the people by concentrating on their economic, educational, and spiritual welfare.Houses Indoril and Dres, have become almost unheard of in Morrowind and have little to no power. Telivanni is still neutral, Redoran still holds its ties to the Temple and the strongest House politically is Hlaalu. The Empire continues to influence Morrowind more and more each day. Tension is growing, something lays over the horizon. Struggles between Great House, Temple, and Imperial interests could at any time erupt into full-scale war… (Sorry to double post. Just wanted to seperate Rules and Story)

tyjet3
This will be my character... though i will be a DM, i will also play along. But just remember... there is no "main character" in this story. Name: DaricRace: BretonGender: MaleAge: 26Majors: Restoration, Marksman, Blunt Weapon, Alchemy, and MysticismMinors: Speechcraft, Enchant, Light Armor, Athletics, and AlterationPersonality: All round good person. He has a kind heart and will never leave a man behind. If someone he is with is in need, he is the first to help. Although he is not a very aggresive person he knows how to defend himself quite well with his mace if needed, otherwise he will back up a team with healing magic or herbs and his custom made one-handed steel crossbow. He knows how to channel his anger pretty will but he has been known to lose his cool sometimes......Appearance: Athletic figure, 5'9", Very light brown hair (almost blonde) with a white bandana over his forehead, green eyes (look at my avatar for facial features), usually dressed in a robe. He carries a large shoulder strapped sack with him that carries alchemy ingredents and food, another strap holds his crossbow. His mace is held in a scabbard on his back. He also has a small tatoo on the small of his back, it is yet to be identified.Class: Cleric (sort of)History: He was on orphan that grew up around the Imperial Cult. He grew attached to the priest Yomia. He grew to look at Yomia as a father figure. He was taught magic at a fairly young age. He soon devoted his life to the cult. As years past, he grew more powerful- magically and politically. He was sent on a mission on his 17th birthday to protect someone. He got there and his "father" had already been. She lay dead in the road. "Too late," Daric murmured to himself... Daric thought nothing of it... It happened all the time. But later while he was visiting his "father's" chambers, he fell upon some papers... It was speaking of killing a people because of their knowledge... At the bottom was signed "Yomia"... It turn out she was killed because the Cult had made a mistake. She knew of it and threatened to tell the grand-priest of the Cult. It turns out the Cult was demanding more money from the Imperial Forces but they would supply anything. Yomia hired the Morag Tong to threaten some high level people. Unfortunatly, they didn't get the message right. They killed several people. Yomia was responsible for their deaths. To make things worse he tried to cover it up by killing more. Yomia had been a servent of the Cult for years. He would be executed. It all made sense now... Daric was sent to protect that woman as a cover up so the Cult wouldn't be held responsible for her death. He was used by someone he had trusted all his life!! Daric left the cult and never spoke to Yomia again. Daric wondered the cities for years. He tried joining the mage's guild but it just wasn't his style... Then he met a very interesting person in the streets of Balmora. It was an Argonian named Jo-Im-Ie. He saw Daric's battered body and offered to fed him for the night. Daric could tell he could trust this guy. I mean why else would he try to help? Daric had nothing of value to steal so he nodded and followed the Argonian. They walked out of Balmora and scaled a mountain, crossed some bridges, ect. They came to a great looking house. Well to make a long story short (too late), Jo-Im-Ie convinced him to join this special guild, the Carriers. It worked like the Cult but was headed by the Blades. Daric came to love the place and loved the people. He loved the Carriers mission statement too. It was based off of peace. If there was ever a great danger The Blades and The Carriers would usually work together. Very few people know who the Carriers are just like the Blades. In fact many people are often mixing up Carriers people with Blades people. Here is a good way to describe the Carriers. If villagers are in trouble who do they call? easy, gaurds... Well if the Blades are in trouble they call the Carriers. Consider them a special form of the Blades. But anyway, now Daric finds himself never too far from the Carriers and is always willing to help.
Eiade
Here is the character I the DM will be playing as. He is meant to be more as a person to use for reference in the storyline and not just for fighting; he has knowledge of politics of Morrowind. Plus he is essential to the story (don't worry, he isn't the main character or anything.). Name: Tylen EthelasRace: Dark elfGender: maleAge: 36Armor/weapon preference: Tylen uses a fine Dwemer longsword, and owns a suit of standard-issue bonmold from House Hlaalu.Personality: Loyal Hlaalu House Kinsman, very virtuous and moral man. Keeps to himself sometimes, quiet towards people he doesn't know, and has a grudge against some outlanders.Appearance/clothing: Almost at all times, Tylen will be wearing his bonemold armor (gah-julan cuirass, standard pauldrons), and his expensive yet modest clothing can be seen between the pieces, or sticking out. He is well-kept, because he always likes to look presentable.Class: Specialization: Combat. Favorite attributes: Strength, speed. Majors: Long blade, medium armor, athletics, speechcraft, enchant. Minors: Mercantile, acrobatics, armorer, security, illusion.History: Tylen has been a follower of House Hlaalu for as long as he can remember. A few years ago he was employed under Nevana Ules to be a guard at Ules Manor. He has since befriended Nevana, and now he zealously stands guard to protect his friend, a well-known councilor of Hlaalu. He currently stands at the rank of Kinsman. Harver
Name: Harver Grayfield.Race: ImperialGender: MaleAge: 20Armor/Weapon Preference: Dues to Harver's experience working frields and tossing hay, he has become adept at thrusting. Therefore, thrusing weapons have become a weapon of choice. Also, because he is a simple man and has had little former combat experience, he prefers to be unarmored. Personality: Harver is a good man. He was raised with strong moral values and abides by them with fierce tenacity. He is not a stupid man, however. If he is given to choice to die, or let someone die, or steal something he will steal. Ultimately he is an easy going man if you are willing to accept him. Coming from an isolated region of the world he has also aquired a particular level of innocence. Appearance/Clothing: Harver is about 5'11". His muscles are toned and lean. He has long brown hair tied back with a scarlet scrap of cloth. He wears a formerly white jerkin that has been slightly dirt stained from hard labor. He wears a pair of brown breeches that are tucked into a pair of worn-out old boots. His face is not exceptionally beautiful but he is, by no means, ugly. His eyes are a dark hazel and his face is rugged and slim with a square jaw. He carries with him a leather sack drapped around his right shoulder and carries a pitch fork over his left shoulder. He has a hatched tucked into his belt, vieled by the bottom of his jerkin.Class: FarmerMajors: Spear, athletics, unarmored, speechcraft, marksmanship.Minors: Axes, Hand-to-hand, Mercantile, acrobatics, light armor.favorite attributes: Strength, Speed.History: Harver hails from a land that leads the quiet and peaceful life. The Imperial Legion occupy the land but it is far enough away from any conflict that the people hardly even notice the Legions presence. Harver was raised by his father, Dyrlin, a widower. Harver's mother died giving birth to him. Dyrlin held a small resentment for the boy for this but knew that his wife would have wanted him to forgive him. While he could not do this he raised the boy as best as he could. Dyrlin trained the boy to work the fields, to dig into the earth with his hands and to love the crust that developed under his fingernails. Harver was not raised entirely alone. He had his uncle nearby, who was also a school teacher for the town. While he could not attend formal classes because of his need to do field work, he could always come to his uncle, who would be waiting with a tray of snacks and a book open for him. He recieved training in arithmetic, writing and proper grammar. While he was not the smartest man in the land, he was the smartest of all the farmers sons. At the age of 14, Harver was allowed to participate in the towns festival games. One contest that he was particularly drawn to was the bail-tossing competition. In this competition one must take a pitch fork, stab it into a bail of hay and heave it onto a wagon. The person who could lift the most bails was the winner. Surprisingly enough, Harver won. He won that year and every year after. When he turned 19, a drought struck the land. The towns people quickly rifled through their food stores. At this time, Dyrlin was struck with a fever. Harver did not have the proper food to nourish him during this time and his father wound up dying. Without his father and the farm in the pits, Harver needed to seek new opportunities. Because of the failed economy in his land he was not able to find work. He took the first available boat out. To Suran. Once in Suran Harver set off to find work. The day light hours were dwindeling, however, and he sought lodging. At the inn, the prices were too high and so he was forced to leave. On his way out, a kindly old man told him about some lodgings for free just outside of town. Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, Harver thanked the old man and headed to the manor outside town.
Fishystick
Me wants in please.Name:Vallréy WestmarPronunciation:well.. Vall-réy, with a quick 'r' and the 'é' with a deep sound.. kinda..Race:Bosmer(Wood Elf)Gender:MaleAge:32Armor/Clothing:A slightly damaged Glass cuirass protects the upper part of his body with a red shirt underneath, his legs are also covered with glass, badly damaged such, while his feet are nicely hidden in a pair of blue Indoril Boots. Over all this, he wears a brownish/greenish hooded cape.Weapons:Daedric Longbow with Glass arrows and a Steel ClaymoreMajor:Marksman, Longblade, Light Armor, Acrobatics, AthleticsMinor:Sneak, Security, Hand to Hand, Speechcraft, MercantileFavourite Attributes:Agility, SpeedClass:Scout(I wasn't sure on what to write, so Scout it is)Personality:Vallréy isn't the one to keep quiet on a trip with others, mostly laughing or singing songs from all around Morrowind, he's learned a few new languages, orcish, dunmer and altmer elvish, he can even speak a little to argonians, but the later one still needs pretty much training. Still, he uses his knowledge in speechcraft to talk his way out of trouble when possible, mostly when he's drunk and bragging about his accomplishments.Appearance:Vallréy stands a little over 6 feet tall with shoulder-long black hair and deep blue eyes. His strong muscular legs make the only exception to an otherwise slim body. His face has a few scars, nothing ugly though. A dark stubble(I looked it up, hope it's right) covers his chin and his eyes show signs of fatigue.History:There isn't much to say about Vallréy, his father taught him how to use the bow and sword at an early age, his uncle trained him to become a skilled athlete and acrobat, his two brothers showed him how to get in and out of places without being spotted while his mother showed him how to deal with people by words. When he turned 17, Vallréy left his home and set out to explore the world of Morrowind. He had heard much of the island called Vvardenfell when he decided to get on a ship to go there, he arrived at a place called Vivec, wondering what this new place had in mind for him, a lonely elf on the shores of an unknown world. That was almost twelve years ago, it turned out that the Gods didn't care much for him, where he now was wandering around in any direction. Crim, The Red Thunder
Ill try anything... so here. Name: Wren Thunder-eyePronunciation: Self-explanatory… if you REALLY don’t know then go look at an Audubon guide for US East Coasts birds.Race: NordGender: FemaleAge: 21 (Let’s be reasonable here, eh? No 12 year old heroes, no 5000 year old geezers, etc…) Armor Preference: Heavy armor, probably Steel, or maybe an ebony piece or two… prefer not to wear iron, since I don’t like the limitations given in severe weight. (and iron is kinda ugly too... most of it anyway) Prefer tower-shields to normal ones.Currently wears a set of steel armor (minus gauntlets) and a steel tower sheild. Weapon Preference: Whatever I can get my hands on that has a sharp edge on it, but until then a “Nordic Rune Axe”. (from Farrps Weapon Compilation… no it’s not uber, it’s a steel-type 2-handed axe… but it’s of Nordic Origin, so I use it. (the damage is about the same as a steel weapon, or maybe an ebony one… I havent compared it yet… And it has NO enchantment or scripted special abilities, and it‘s not considered silver (I think) so it doesn’t have any real advantages besides looking REAL cool) If this is unacceptable, then my character will ‘mysteriously’ lose said axe… For a Nordic longsword! Theme is important!) but will gladly take up any weapon EXCEPT a staff… hammers/maces are okay, but staffs are crap! Also uses a steel crossbow. favors silver bolts, but is not picky.* Nordic Axe OK’ed by DM. * Class: Vigilante (custom class) Specialty: Combat Favorite stats: Strength, Agility Majors MarksmanAxeLong swordHeavy ArmorMercantilism Minors AlchemyEnchantingHand-To-HandIllusionAthletics History: after having my parents murdered by bandits, my character became OBSESSED with law. However, rather then become a guard, I became a vigilante of justice. I traveled around the country, doing whatever seemed ‘just’ at the moment… However, my sense of justice was somewhat obscured due to the time I had to spend in an undercover infiltration of the Camonna Tong… so I no longer obey every law that vvardenfell sets… if someone wants to pay me, or ask me to do something, I will generally do it. Personality: Doesn’t get along with others well, having a bit of an antisocial complex. Extremely edgy around possible hostile people, but still prefers to avoid fighting. She is WELL able to hold her own in battle, shooting first with her crossbow, then resorting to close-up melee… seldom resorting to magic for combat. She does use magic to enhance her appearance, and also uses this for stealth to avoid fights. Appearance: Red hair, length reaches midway down the back. No tattoos or any other distinguishing markings. Wears whatever clothes are available and allow her to blend in. Generally seen in expensive red shirt, with tailored black pants, but is more then willing to dress in rags to pull off a job. Edit: Sorry for the left out skill... Also edited for clarification. Eiade
The party is now full. No more can be accepted. The party consists of: Tyjet3, Eiade, Flightlessbird, Harver, Fishystick, and Crim, The Red Thunder. Others may be accepted later on, if the occasion should arise. Me or Tyjet3 will post if we need another player. This sign-up sheet will be used as reference for the players, to keep other players in check and to see if they can find personality clashes/affectations between characters. I will start the rp soon. REMINDER: ALL PLAYERS WILL BE EXPECTED TO POST AT LEAST ONCE A DAY. It's ok if you miss a day every once in a while, just don't leave us hanging for like 4 days. I'm really sorry Ken! I just don't want too many people in this thing! We've both seen what it's like to have like 9 people going at once!
