Tephnos
Hey guys, SPOILERS Just played Dragonborn for the first time and was doing the questline, and I didn't pay much attention to it at first, but the entire time Miraak was completely headless! Once I had killed him and took the mask for myself, whenever I wear it, I too, am headless. Droppingthe mask on the ground shows it just fine, and it shows fine in the inventory, just wearing it causes me to lose my head (and not completely, I can just see a sort of slight shadow where it should be on my head. Googling it brought up no answers, so I'm wondering if this is some kind of known bug? Edited August 28, 2013 by Tephnos

my3al
I had a similar bug with Miraak not having a body during the first cut scene, he had his mask, boots and gloves. No body at all. The next time I saw him was when he was absorbing a soul and he still had no body. 1: I opened the console and clicked on him to bring up his PRID 2: showed his inventory with `inv` command and inspected his inventory. This showed that it was a mod I had installed. I looked at all Miraak's clothing reference id's for something that did not match the rest of the form id's. Under armor I found form # 7c0229d2 which was unlike any of the others which were numbered like 0402b0f7 which makes sense as the DB DLC is in load order 04. I searched through MO2's esp load order to find the `7c` and found it was LSARP causing the issue for me. I confirmed it by disabling the LSARP esp and anything that had anything to do with that mod, reloaded the save previous to Miraak's second appearance and Miraak had his robes again. I'm not saying that LSARP is your issue here as I don't know what is/was in your mod list. I just wanted to share a troubleshooting method one might take to figure out what might be causing the issue.
