Dilvish
The bodies of people who die in cities can't be removed because they died in a city? Sorry but that still seems unrealistic to me.
NinjaSalad
I know what you mean, with those corpses a buzzing fly noise can be heard, and it can get quite annoing
Malchik
I think it's the ones under water where you can still hear the flies buzzing that are most strange! However on PC you can remove all the corpses with the console command 'disable'.
Crim, The Red Thunder
no, what i meant was that when something dies in a non-wilderness, or non-dungeon cell, the game wont let you remove it. That's why there is still a golden saint corpse in the bottom of the telvanni hermitage for my character. The game says it cant be removed. The other corpses (like the ones with the fly sounds) generally serve some import in a quest. That's why you cant remove them. Bethesda was trying to keep you from breaking a quest ahead of time. Malchik
That is true on xbox but on PC you can open the console, right click on the corpse and type disable. Even if it says 'you cannot remove this corpse, you can. I once had to do this when doing the quest for the helm of Oreyn Bearclaw as the only damn thing that the cursor would point at were the dead bull netches. NinjaSalad
Thats another thing, when there are multiple corpses reall close to each other and your trying to look at a certin one, most of the time you have to "Dispose of Corpse" and take all their stuff to get the curser to point at the one you want! Dilvish
Thanks for letting me know about the "disable" command Malchik. That takes care of one of my beefs.
Crim, The Red Thunder
Don't forget the 'enable' command to restore the disabled item! Great for door blocking NPCS!!!!!!!!
Akrid
I have beef! Morrowind characters level up too fast to even truley experience any of the vast worlds in the game before they can kill anything in one hit. Lving up should be slower. I'm going to see if I can make a script where when your skills get maxed they decrease the next skill like by five, so if you dont use one skill but use another one too much the opposing skill will decrease eventully to 0 or negititives if I can. This will allow for character development even after your main skills are maxed, and you can always learn some to skill to lv up again to there will be no more level capps. I might even do the same for base skills. it will make leveling up harder but allow you to grow in power much more in the long run. Another thing, I dont like is how the monsters are dumb, I think after you get so high in level a rat should just leave you alone. And monsters should get stronger as you lv up also, if you can lv up why not them? And another thing, Missions are to sketchy, even with a players guide there tends to be poor directions and bland pointless objectives. More missions should be done with companions. I do like how many missions have multiple outcomes depending what you do. One more thing, the world is devoid of intellegent life, there needs to be more npc's roaming around, I tried many times in the TESCS to get npcs to move places but most of the time they just stand there. Follow commands work ok, but travel commands are crappy, its hard to make them walk somwhere.
Crim, The Red Thunder
Ummmm... if enemies level up too, then that IS putting on a level cap... you go try fighting a level 1000 Dagoth Ur. (IT AINT EASY!!!!!!!! I speak from experience. Vivec was still a cinch at Lv 1000 though...)
