User Image Uploading

Per my discussion here http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1092560-user-image-uploading/

The user image upload feature on the mods site is uninformative and leaves much to be desired with regards advising the uploader of what to expect. I'm told that authors can require approval before an image is shown against their mod. Good idea given the way some people abuse such features, but it wouldn't be hard to actually let the uploader know this, with some kind of "This author requires images to be approved before displaying them" before or "Your image will be displayed once approved" after submitting the image files. As it currently stands the script only reports "upload success" and when nothing appears in the user image section it is confusing. I tried 3 times before realising there was something amiss. That author will be further confused by 3 sets of matching images to approve. It's a waste of time and bandwidth when the upload script can provide simple feedback instantly and set minds at ease. My suggestion is that the Nexus site admin/web developer improve the upload script to account for when authors require approval, and to relay this to users in some clear fashion before or after submission. Cheers.

Edit: Just an afterthought. If this request is implemented, there should also be a way of letting an uploader know if their submission was rejected, or they may decide to keep uploading an image if they think it has failed to been seen. With an author approval system, I suppose it's just as easy for an author to refuse to display an image based on their personal tastes, due to the content or quality, rather than because it is inappropriate. Obviously an uploader is not going to be aware of this is they are not advised.

I second this request.

Each time I upload images and I get a message that the upload was successful, I go back to the mod page to see the images.

And sometimes they're not there, and the only reason I know why is because I've dealt with the issue before.

So it would be great if a message like this could be added:

Author approval required

Images uploaded for this mod will not be visible until the mod author reviews and approves them.

Thanks!
