ENB's and Infinite Load Errors

So I originally had Sharpshooters Original ENB installed to my Skyrim. Worked great and saved game in my home. I decided to try out the Real Vision ENB mod and see what it was like, as it had a good appeal. I followed the steps set forth by the mod author on the page and after finishing, it wouldn't work. I'd try to leave my home and I'd be stuck at an infinite loading screen. Saddened, I restored the files I had changed as best I could back to my Sharpshooter's configuration. However, after doing so, I still seem to be having the infinite loading screen when trying to leave my house. I also noted that instead of saying 'SSAO Enabled' at the top of my screen during start up, it says 'SSAO disabled'. I'm not really sure what is happening, I didn't deviate from the instructions. Any ideas?

Also, does NMM store all of my mods separate from the Skyrim game itself? By that I mean, If I deactivated all my mods and completely uninstalled Skyrim and reinstalled it, could I still just go back to NMM and click activate to reinstall them like I normally would?

you can look up in the enblocal.ini what is configured also you can look in the enbseries.zip which files are in there and then delete all of them in your skyrim folder, and reinstall the your enb,

also there is an enb configurator on the nexus, you can change ssao with that

I'm not very adept at configuring or reading .ini files. The only time I change anything is if I have intructions via video or description, otherwise I dont know too much about what they say

recopy the files of the enb config back into your skyrim directory.

First copy the enb binary (which you download from enbdev.com) into your skyrim directory, then copy over the files from the enb config into the same directory, overwritting when asked.

Should work :)

You might also want to navigate to documents\my games\skyrim and delete renderinfo.txt (you should do this each time you instal a new ENB :) )

My ENB appears to be active now, however for some reason it wont go any faster than 16 FPS. Before, when I originally had the ENB installed correctly, it ran at 45+ FPS.

what enb binary are you using? The latest v 0212 adds a few new effects which can affect performance.

you might need to turn off AO, sun rays etc until you get it working nicely or just use an older version of the enb

v0.102, as stated by the mod author. I've used it before and it worked, but now it drops my fps. How would I edit effects like those? Id prefer not to if possible, unless you know of alternative sun glare mods that would be compatible with it

is it this version of sharpshooters you're using? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/15105/?tab=1&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D15105%26preview%3D&pUp=1

If you press shift + enter it brings up a menu which you can toggle effects like DOF, AO, sunrays, skylighting etc

Yes, and of the two on that page I'm using Sharpshooter's Original, not version 3.

Shift+Enter did nothing. I believe its the binary of ENB used by this

Removing the D3D9.dll fixes the FPS issue, while I know that makes the whole ENB inert, at least it helps narrow it down?
