Daytime in the wasteland is mostly safe, but nighttime is when all the zombies come out. They're fast, powerful, and likely to kill any npc you'll ever meet. Drastic gameplay changes Zombie Apocalypse: funny little mod that spawns a bunch of nuclear zombies in megaton. When you kill them, they detonate.
