OSA acting as if it wasn't installed

I installed every mod that was necessary for OSA to work just fine in my Skyrim AE, but this damned mod seems to ignore my efforts. I press the ENTER key and it just doesn't open the interface (and my ENTER key is working). I found a probable cause of the problem, here follows:

"OSA/OSex don't seem to start at all. Also, when I hit enter on the numpad, OSA's main menu doesn't appear.
OSA is a skyui widget. Some alternate start mods and possibly other mods that tweak skyui widgets can stop OSA from being loaded up. Try completing your alternate start and/or removing mods that tweak skyui widgets like iHud
Every single time you load a save, a small spinning golden circle should appear at the top of the hud just to the right of where the vanilla compass is for a brief moment. Oh, but skyui is working just fine, and there are no other mods that I think are causing the problem.
