DashingKnight
Hello, I'm trying to start Modding again and have ran into a serious problem. Every time I try to make a new NPC Follower in Creation Kit they all have a red forehead. I've tried changing all my character design Mods esp files to esm files and even tried the eye sockets trick and verifying tool integrity.. Nothing works and the foreheads remain a solid shade of red. I use Enhanced Character edit and even my imported Nose 32 save has this red forehead. I'm at a loss and have no idea how to fix this. Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Someone please help me. With all the new technology available I would love to start Modding again. Thanks in advance! pheo3309
Try what Rhowington says in this post here. I've used the same fix in the past and it helped. I haven't had much of an issue since.
DashingKnight
I tried that and unfortunately it didn't work. No matter what manipulation I do with the eye sockets nothing removes the red forehead. Thanks for your reply though.
rhowington
Forget my earlier post there is a better simpler way. Simply temporarily remove your tintmasks folder from textures/actors/character/character assets/ tinmasks to the desktop. Open your file then save and export the facegen data. Be sure to replace the tintmasks folder afterward.
DashingKnight
Interesting. I will give that a try. Thanks!

DashingKnight
I had to do this again as my first design didn't turn out to my liking. Lol! This time I not only had to temporarily remove the Tintmasks, but I had to turn Lipstick all the way down to 0. I'm running into other problems now, but hopefully will have a new Mod soon.
