Gorgopis
We tried to build a new NPC, and for some reason, her face has "tear-lines" around the mouth. These show in the CK and in-game. We never had this before. Where did we slip up? Should this post be on the CK side?
anjenthedog
hmm...*could be mouth placement (back forward up down, teeth too). I've caused that when fiddling with racemenu settings.
Gorgopis
We built her by duplicating an existing NPC, providing all Nif and Mesh and textures in the right folders, without going through racemenu. We even tried replacing all Nif's/Meshes and textures with a start over, and still got the "torn-cheeks." We did not use any CK sliders in the CharGen tab. Thanks for a suggestion. We think we may have to delete the esp and build entirely from scratch again. . . .
anjenthedog
No matter whether you use Racemenu or some other mechanism to build a face, if the mouth is placed incorrectly, (or maybe it's just the teeth, I can't recall), you will likely see "tearing" around the mouth, which is actually just the tooth/mouth model being pushed out of bounds and clipping the exterior facial "skin"
