How to get objects into Blender?

The answer to this is posted in the Utilities section of the Fallout 3 Nexus site.

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=30

Go to the above link and - carfully and completly - follow the directions given there for installation of Blender, NifSkope, and other utilities. If your current installation doesn't follow the model LHammonds put there, I would recommend uninstalling what you have and reinstalling to the specifications he suggests.

After that, It should then work just like neunen said.

Okay, Blender installed.

What now? I've looked at other tutorials about this for Fallout 3, and it's really complicated. Is there a complete-and-total-noob tutorial somewhere that is tied to the game?

Sorry I'm being such a bother about this. :wallbash:

You have to install all the utilities... not just Blender

With the files for blender and the other utilities was a tutoral and you can find the manual for blender here.

P.S. Any tutorials tied strictly to Fallout 3 modding will be here on the forums or on Fallout 3 Nexus - you just have to do a little digging for them.

How do I move models into Blender? I am pretty much a noob, I don't have any modding experience beyond changing weapons and clothing. Please respond.

Thanks,

Hiya also check out the TES Wiki and Geck Wiki Tut's on this and over at Beth forum Artisten has done a YouTube on this subject and then bringing it back from Blender to Fallout3 might wanna check that out also!

Good Luck
