TarraxIronwolf
I was wondering is there a mod in which you can keep track of your horses health? I don't like invulnerable horses, so with that I end up unknownly losing a horse to a relatively small jump because it had already sustained its near allotment of health from earlier excursions out in Skyrim. Had I known that it was that injured I wouldn't have made that jump or entered combat with a wounded horse, but instead would have healed it (does 'heal others' actually work on mounts anyway?) Many thanks in advance!Tarrax Ironwolf
SeraphimKensai
Heal other does work on horses, as well as spells which might help absorb some of the damage sustained. Or even granting fall immunity for a period of time. As far as a health gauge for a horse its an interesting idea. The only way I know how to do it would be to run a script on the horse so it gives a notification of when its health reaches a certain threshold via a debug.notification
TarraxIronwolf
Great many thanks SeraphimKensai for responding. Never tried scripting before, so that might very well be out of my hands. But on the brighter side it's good to know that 'heal other' does benefit my mount, and as a secondary bonus it will up my Restoration score faster. SeraphimKensai
well, I don't have a lot of scripting experience, but its pretty straightforward once you get into it. I don't have the time persay to do this for you in any relative fast timeframe, so I'd recommend going to creationkit.com and looking through the tutorials there to get a start, and you should be able to figure this out fairly easily if you have a few hours to play around and learn.
