Mod management with NMM, Wyre Flash, and BOSS?

Hi,

 

I'm a bit new to New Vegas modding (but have dealt with Morrowind, and Oblivion).

 

I'm only just starting to use NMM, and I plan to later use Wyre Flash to detect conflicts (having bee a fan of the original Wyre Bash), and BOSS to help with load order (though I have some general idea, from experience with past games, unless things have changed a lot).

 

My question is, when I'm activating mods, for example - Caesar's New Regime main file (CNR), CNR - Explorer for Vanilla Body, CNR - Update, CNR - Mission Mojave Compat., each time I activate these it asks me about something being overridden. So I'm under the impression that the last mod I activate would be the actual overridden files I'll be using.

 

But I'm going to use Wyre Flash to detect conflicts, and BOSS to help with load order. Does that mean then I'm suppose to figure out in general the load order for those files and activate them in the correct order in NMM to use WF and BOSS correctly, or what?

 

Or would you recommend using something else if not these three?
