KottonKing
How do I change my resolution in the game? Every time I find a new location, level up or any thing happens where the text appears at the top of my screen, it gets cut off. All I can see is the bottom of the letters. Besides every thing looks like it's made of huge pixels. I would like a more smoother and realistic resolution. Trees and grass looks ridiculous. Not only that when I go to my item menu and I look at my character to the left he/she looks like like they're covered in pixels. Please help. Thanks! In game press the ESC key and go to the OPTIONS menu where it says video. There you can change grass distance and object fade distance etc. But, if you alter the actual screen resolution in game it won't change until you quit the game and restart. A better way is to go to the options menu in your launcher and select the video options before you start the game. Or you can do it before loading once in the game. See screen shot. You'll still have to exit and restart for the changes to be applied if you do it this way. It's also mentioned in your Oblivion game manual if you have the retail DVD. Installing, Launcher and Main Menu. Page 3.I don't know what you get as far as docs with D2D versions. If you have a crash on game exit and your settings are not saved, open the console before quitting and type "saveini" without the quotes. Press enter to save the changes to the ini file. Close the console. Not knowing your system specs and which resolutions your monitor and graphics card can handle that's as much advice as I can give you. For that info refer to your monitor and graphics card manuals.
