Jeava
Hello to all you former adventurers who have taken arrows to your knees! (You know what I'm talkin' about! wink wink!) I have been a long time player and fan of the Elder scrolls lore and games and have spent the majority of the past decade gleefully enjoying Skyrim in all it's modded wonder. However there is one small detail...person....well...kobold missing in my humble opinion. As some of you might remember the past single player game, Neverwinter Nights 2 introduced gamers to one of the finest NPC followers in gaming history; Deekin Scalesinger. For those of you not familiar with this amazing little guy allow me to introduce with what I can remember at the movement. https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Deekin_ScalesingerDeekin is found early in the game as a recently escaped/eloped independent kobold whom later is discovered to be a quarter White Dragon (hence is later transformation into Dragonkin). Throughout the game(s) he provides not only some of the best lines, but most notable storyline inclusions I personally have ever seen in any game. Deekin's wit and character in game along side some of his witticisms are some of the best gaming memories I can recall; outside of Elder Scrolls and Skyrim of course. It could even be possible (legalities?) to take the audio files from the game and incorporate it into the mod. Additionally and for sake of lore I was thinking to stretch the envelop and suggest/recommend making him a Falmar who has left to find life as a Bard above ground. Two complications from this idea; 1 - Falmar hate surface dwellers and 2 - currently no Falmar has any audio files in game suggesting they are all generally mute(?) However; perhaps both his love of humans, fear of the dark, and having a voice (sound) is what get's him tossed out of his clan in the first place. Once the main character unlocks main quest I think an interesting twist would be the addition of a "mutation" with wings to his character model, something that is lore-friendly to the later editions of Neverwinter Nights 2. I can introduce him as part of a storyline where his continuing Dragonkin mutations interact with the Falmar's ansestory as Snow Elf. This creats some interesting plot and character developments. This background, and character motivation along side his mutual growth as Dragonkin with main characters development would make him a powerful and amazing follower to journey with.I would very much appreciate if any modder's out there might consider this project. I personally think Deekin would be a wonderful addition to the world of Skyrim. Thank you all for reading, and considerations and I wish you all the best!
